Statement of the Management Board
Dear Sir or Madam, dear shareholders,
It has been brought to our attention that there have been promotional activities on the internet in recent days. Although these were partly based on generally accessible information about our company, they lacked any serious basis in respect to the opinions expressed by the author on the company’s valuation.
With regard to the question of which valuation is appropriate for our company, the respective decision ultimately lies with the capital market, where supply and demand form the share price. However, it was important for us to send out a signal at the beginning, as our company is on the stock market as of recently. For this reason, we commissioned an auditing firm to prepare a valuation report, which estimates the company value at around EUR 21.5 million. With a share capital of EUR 1,666,667, this corresponds to a value of around EUR 12.90 per share. We published this information on August 11, 2022.
Against this background, we have instructed our lawyers to take legal action against the operators of a homepage from Austria and to examine further measures. It may well be that attempts to influence share prices by so-called stock market services and other opinion makers occur more frequently on the stock markets every day. For us, however, it is crucial that the shareholders of Deutsche Payment A1M SE are able to form an opinion about the company without being influenced by opinion-makers and to make their investment decisions accordingly.
